The Miscelánea Ensemble is an adventurous group with an unique identity, positioned midway between a folk band and an early music ensemble. The ensemble's primary focus is on exploring the connections between Latin American folk music and early music. They present repertoire that spans from delicate two-voice pieces to lively cumbias, where vocalists and instrumentalists interchange roles, and the entire ensemble engages in collective singing.
